The Sound of Silence

It is deafening.

The silence in the Mumbai Chabad house in the aftermath of the slaughter there. Here, a young couple, on a mission of selfless service, two pure souls, are murdured together with their guests. An existential encounter between the most evil in Islam and the purist and noblest of Judaism.

The silence after the cries of the orphaned toddler calling for his mother, who cannot answer.

The breathtaking silence of the Muslim world. Where is the call among the "moderate" Arab and Muslim countries and leaders, to expunge this evil in their midst? Imagine if a Jew or Israeli was involved in such a massacre against Muslims. The Jewish leadership, the Israeli politicians, would be apologizing to the Muslim world. We would be calling for soul searching, for disavowing these people who don't represent us, who distort Judaism. How could we have let them take root among us? The Muslim world, especially Pakistan, owes the world, and particularly the Jewish people, an apology. But they are silent. They pretend to support the fight against the terrorists, and the need to address the root causes, the grievances of the terrorists, as though such grievances could explain the inhuman behavior of the attackers at the Chabad house.

Hello Dr.;

I could not agree more with you. There is, unfortunately, a double standard in our society. Somehow Jewish blood is not as red as any other human being?

Take for instance the goings on in the Gaza these days. Hamas throws hundreds of rockets at Israel for days, without so much as a half-hearted rebuke. Suddenly when Israel decides to take measures to stop these attacks and retaliate, the whole world is up in arms. What gives?

The double standard is sickening.

The gazans have been besieged since hamas were democratically elected and have been under cruel occupations since 1967. what would you do if you had not enough medicine? not enough food? not enough fuel? not enough water? if you couldn't send your children to school? give them a tank and laser guided missles and i am sure they would much rather hit the kinesset.

http://www.palestineremembered.com/Acre/Ar...s/Story934.html ((tells how since 1973, America has spent about $1.6 Trillion dollars on zionist "israel"; keep in mind all the money before this to from America and other western colonial powers like Britain and France).

Shalmo, you are being fed lies by the Palestinian Hamas propaganda machine. Nobody is Gaza is starving, and there is enought fuel and medicine. All of the independent organizations no this.

The proof for this was why was there terrorism coming from Gaza BEFORE Hamas' takeaver? There was no blockade then.

Hey if you want to play that card

Israel came BEFORE Hamas and Hezbollah, not after

They both are legitimate organizations created by the people to oppose an imperialistic power trying to impose totalitarian rule over them.

And as history has shown with all colonizers whether the Germans, the English or the French, people will resist those who try to control them, steal their land and take over their resources. Its human nature to resist oppression!

But what would you know. Jews today act more like Amalek than followers of Moses.

I am glad to know sire you do know represent all of the world's Jewry: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OeMWVhrsILs&feature=channel_page

^^It goes to show there are indeed some good jews left who refuse to partake in this genocide.

The Classic "New Wave of Anti-Semitism" Card:

As if we didn't expect it coming.

The "new wave of anti-semitism" is here with us and plaguing the European capitals according to the israeli murderous politicians:

QUOTE
Israel Monday expressed concern over "a wave of anti-Semitism" spreading across the world in the wake of its deadly offensive against the Islamist Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip.

Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni "has expressed Israel's concern about the current wave of anti-Semitic attacks in various parts of the world," her office said in a statement.

"We have received with great concern and revulsion many reports of physical, moral, verbal and other manifestations of anti-Semitic attacks towards Jews and Israeli citizens in many parts of the world.

"Whatever one's opinion may be of this operation, it should never be used to legitimize hate and anti-Semitic incitement."

Israel's 17-day-old Gaza offensive has killed more than 900 Palestinians and has sparked many protests worldwide.

"Israel calls upon the leaders of the world to condemn, suppress and curb any and all forms of such incitement and hate.

"The dangers that lie within the Pandora's box that appears to have been opened with this current wave of anti-Semitism are known too well to humanity," the foreign ministry said.

end quote

The new wave of anti-semitism card has been over-used, and after endless recycling it apparently still holds the capacity to work as an effective smokescreen to immunize the rogue, apartheid, and genocidal regime of israel from being made accountable for its inhumane conduct. From the Yom Kippur war to the 1982 invasion of Lebanon, anti-semitism has always been used to silence criticism of israeli genocide and terror.

Fill the streets, bear your slogans and tell the world about israeli terror. It is anti-semitic to watch Palestinian children die in silence.
